I first started playing records in the late fifties to a packed youth club in Wirksworth Derbyshire and later formed a group with my brother and two friends under the name of "Black Satin" this continued for seventeen years on the club circuit throughout the midlands.

In 1978 I returned back to the DJ world and set up as a mobile disco working again in the midlands

In October 1994 I joined "Valley Radio" stationed in Ripley Derbyshire to present the rock'n'roll programme which lasted for 3 years.
